Remember there is no school on April 13th. It is a teacher work day.
We are so excited. We have 6 chicks and 1 duckling so far (since Thursday at 2:45). The students love looking at them and trying to name them. The students do get to hold them with teacher supervision on Fridays.
The students learned another word this week. The word is ‘do’, See if your child can use the word ‘do’ in a sentence. We have learned the words a, and, can, like, look, see, said, to, the, we, went, was, my, I, is, here, have, go and for.
We only have a few months left. It is important that your child arrives to school on time and is here if they are not sick. There are more things to learn and more adventures to have. Please remind your child that it is important to try and do their best. Thank you!!
Please look for information next week about our field trip to the zoo. It is going to be an end of the year field trip. We are looking to have plenty of volunteers so that we can be safe at the zoo.
Classroom Happenings: Dialogue with your child
Challenge Work: 1) How many words can you create using the word ‘duckling’? 2) Three frogs were on a log. How many eyes could you see?
Enjoy your time together this weekend. Nayoko
