What a week!!! The snow was a surprise. We are glad to have everyone back ready to learn.
This week we learned a new word, ‘look’. Please have your child write a sentence using the word ‘look’. We also continued to work on the word family ‘it’. Please help your child think of some words that end with the ‘it’ word family.
We are working on counting by 1’s and 10’s to 100. Have your child practice this at home. The end of year goal (on report cards) is for them to be able to count to 100 by 1’s and 10’s.
At recess, students are working on being safe and not chasing or pushing friends. Some students don’t understand that how they play at home is different than how we can play at school. Please remind your child that it is important to be safe, respectful, and responsible during recess as well.
Some students are still working on getting details in their picture. Remember when your child is drawing a picture that they need ground, a background, clothes, and hair. Thank you for all of your help.
