May 24th is the Lenox Celebration of Learning night from 5:30 pm -7:30 pm. More information to come.
On June 1st is our school carnival. This is a wonderful time for families. We need a lot of volunteers for this to happen and be successful. Please sign up with the booster club to volunteer for this fantastic evening. Thank you!!!!!
We are planning on having our kinder graduation on Thursday, June 14th at 12:30 in the gym. This is the day before the last day of school for kindergarteners. We hope that you can come and join us for this fabulous celebration.
Our new word this week is ‘she’. Please have your child practice reading and writing this word. Thank you! The words we have learned so far are a, and, can, do, for, go, here, have, I, is, like, look, my, play, see, said, she, to, the, we, went, was, with, and you.
Please remind your child that it is very important to follow directions and be respectful listeners. As the year comes closer to the end these are areas that we remind the students about a lot.

Challenge Work: optional 1) What is your favorite animal? Draw a picture of it and write a story about what it is doing. 2) There are four birds in a tree. Two more birds land in the tree. Three birds decide to leave. How many birds are left in the tree? Draw a picture to show your answer. Can you write a number sentence to go with your picture?
